New Home for the Dandy Lion Market

I have exciting news. My cherished Dandy Lion Market has found a new home at the Oxford Pub, in Kentish Town. After working my butt off for over a year to unpredictable, and sometimes unsatisfactory foot traffic, I have high hopes that things will dramatically improve with the new setting. We will take over the whole of the upstairs area and additional 2 prime pitch spaces downstairs by the front entrance.
Two hops away from Kentish Town tube and overground station, this area is a hive of activity all day, every day. At weekends, hoards of Camden Lockers, who can't enter Camden underground station on their return journey must go to either Mornington Crescent or Kentish Town stations to exit via tube.

The Oxford has the busiest streetside area of all the KT pubs, and it is well regarded for it's fine gastropub fare. People come to Kentish Town for its wide variety of supermarkets, pubs and restaurants. It should be a fantastic new home for this fun and funky art, craft and vintage market extraordinaire! Check for updates here and on the Facebook page.

Re-launch date: Sept 1st, 12-5 pm FREE ENTRY!

What a wonderful day we had at the Torriano Schools Joint Summer Festival Fair!

What a wonderful day we had at the Torriano Schools Joint Summer Festival Fair last Saturday, the 7th July. My bird decorating kept a few of the of children busy who came along with their parents in the hundreds. The event was a RESOUNDING success with over £4,600 raised! A sum never achieved before, and enabled largely by the super team work of the combined schools Parent & Teacher groups. WOW!!
Pictured are myself and our illustrious and much love Head Teacher Bavaani Nanthabalan.
